We’re Hiring: Regional Manager, Central and Southern NC and All of SC

At Hallwood, we’ve been in the business of pallets, lumber, crating, and specialty wood products since 1979. The industry has changed a lot in that time, but what hasn’t changed is how we treat our mill partners, our customers, and our team. We’re expanding into Central and Southern North Carolina and all of South Carolina, and we’re looking for a Regional Manager who wants a long-term seat at a company that still does business the right way.

About the Role

The Regional Manager owns the territory. You’ll run daily operations, build relationships with mill partners and customers, oversee territorial sales and recycled-pallet purchases (cores), and serve as Hallwood’s industry expert on the ground. You’ll also work directly with our in-house sales and client care teams, which means you’re never out there alone.

Territory

Central North Carolina south to the state line, and the full state of South Carolina.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary plus uncapped sales commissions

  • Estimated total compensation of $60,000 to $200,000 per year

  • Supplemental start-up bonus program for additional income during your first few months

  • Monthly incentives tied to commission sales

  • Health benefits and 401K

  • Remote working environment

  • Company car (TBD)

  • Professional job training

  • In-house, end-to-end support from Sales through Client Care

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within your geographical territory

  • Build strong, honest relationships with all mill partners and customers, continuously

  • Manage territorial sales, recycled purchases (cores), industry intelligence, and customer communications

  • Sell directly to customers and research or resolve any post-sale issues

  • Be the industry expert for your customer base and potential prospects

  • Plan and execute sales agendas that promote growth and sustainable partnerships

  • Provide product specifications (PDS) to customers on an as-needed basis

  • Update CRM regularly

  • Assist vendors and customers with Hallwood website navigation as needed

  • Process sales leads promptly

  • Set and achieve sales targets within company guidelines

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of related experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Positive attitude and constructive approach with team members and customers

• Demonstrated track record of thoughtful customer assistance

• Excellent listening skills

• Consistent attendance
